Kanchanaburi is located 129 km.
from Bangkok and covers a total area of approximately
19,483 sq.km., being the country’s third largest
province next to Nakhon Ratchasima and Chiang Mai.
Topographically, it is covered with timber and evergreen
forests, with 2 main rivers; namely, the Khwae Yai and
Khwae Noi Rivers which meet and become the Mae Klong
River at Amphoe Mueang.
