 Description:   Located at 1 Gaolan Road, the former residence of Zhang Xueliang is a three-storey garden building of Spanish style with ivory walls standing near Fuxing Park. The main building covers 800 square meters with a hall in the first floor to entertain guests and a living room on the second floor. The third floor is the Spanish style bedroom for Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi which is occupied by a bed of Spanish style modeled on the original pattern. A roof garden lies 20 square meters outside the bedroom. In front of the building is a big garden called Diyuan Garden of about 1,000 square meters. It was built in 1992-1994 and now the photos of Zhang Xueliang and Zhao Yidi are displayed in the halls named Jingxue Hall, Muliang Hall, Yiqing Hall and Shaoshuai Hall. In addition, the halls are the unique place displaying the scripts of Zhang Xueliang in Shanghai.
