In Laha Num Village, traditional Phoutai cotton country weaving
is practised and every household in the village has a loom. Some
workshops produce naturallydyed cotton by using materials such
as bark and leaves.
Most of the woven products are sent to
Savannakhet City and Vientiane Capital for sale. However, you
can purchase the products at several shops and houses in the
village.
From Savannakhet City, take Route No 13 south for
about 70km, turn left at Pakxong Village, and after 5km turn
right at the T-shaped intersection. The village is at 4km along
the road. |
